WHAT’S REALLY IMPORTANT FOR TRISHA YEARWOOD
This past year, Trisha has been about
reflecting on the things that really matter, and the Georgia native
finds herself in a great place: “I got to a point where I began
asking ‘if something happens to me tomorrow, what do I want to be
doing today?’ I stopped doing things I didn’t want to do and stopped
worrying about what people might say about the things I was gonna
do,” notes Trisha. “And some of that just comes with age…it’s
wonderful.
So that process spilled over into the new [Big Machine] deal. Let’s
go for the things that really matter and have fun and enjoy
everything. I’ve got that going in my personal life and I have an
opportunity to do that in my professional life.” Trisha is currently
in the studio working on her first studio album for Big Machine
Records. The Grammy-winner also recorded a duet with Reba McEntire
for Reba’s upcoming Duets project. Trisha joined Reba on the song
“She Can’t Save Him”, set for release on September 18th. |
