The giant festival that combines country music with a day of family entertainment in Point State Park will return on Saturday for its 12th year, starring award-winning singer Trisha Yearwood...

Yearwood -- who has produced 11 albums and scored 20 Top 10 hits -- had an eventful 2005. In September, she released "Jasper County" -- her first album in four years -- and married fellow country star Garth Brooks in December. Yearwood has been involved in many charity projects, including work for the Starkey Hearing Foundation. Through the foundation, Yearwood has traveled to Mexico to help fit hundreds of children with hearing aids. more!

Vince Gill has created a 4-disc set called These Days that is due out Oct. 17. The 43 new songs will be released via MCA and range from traditional country and bluegrass to jazz and rock. Musicians Trisha Yearwood, Sheryl Crow, Gretchen Wilson, and many more all appear on the project which Gill co-produced with John Hobbs and Justin Niebank.

ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING

One very special and unexpected guest arrived at this year's official Trisha Yearwood Fan Club Party..ELVIS! Several fans sent Trisha a singing Elvis telegram who seemed to provide a good laugh and a great introduction for Trisha. She kicked off her party with a breakfast performance at Nashville's Rocketown on Saturday June 10th. Trisha answered questions, took song requests from the audience, and then greeted and took a  photo with each and every fan who attended. Trisha Yearwood back on 'County' road

Trisha Yearwood, still riding high on the re-release of her "Jasper County" album and marriage to fellow country music star Garth Brooks, will embark on a major tour this summer.

The singer will kick off her tour June 9 in Nashville at the CMA Music Fest, a weeklong festival featuring Brooks & Dunn, Hank Williams Jr., and a horde of other performers. TY Fans Donate to Starkey's Hearing Foundation to Honor Trisha

This year Trisha fans went all out and donated over $2200.00 in Trisha's honor to the Starkey Hearing Foundation. Trisha was presented  the gift along with cards and photos from the dedicated fans who donated. Tammy Sperr, one of the fund organizers shared why it was so important for them to help. "Knowing how much Trisha and her music mean to us, and how listening to her amazing voice can help us in so many ways, it’s hard to imagine that some have never known her magic, therefore, it meant a lot to each and every one of us that participated that we could give money to an organization that can help give that gift of sound and music to so many others!".  THANK YOU TRISHA FANS!

   



Yearwood a hit at MayFaire benefit concert

MayFaire's first concert at Four Seasons Arena went off without a hitch Saturday night as a robust crowd of 2,500 enjoyed multi-platinum-selling country artist Trisha Yearwood.

MayFaire is an annual concert hosted by the Benefis Foundation. This year's proceeds will support Mercy Flight, the medical helicopter service. more!

Yearwood & Malo Tango With NCO

February 11th Trisha Yearwood and Raul Malo joined the Nashville Chamber Orchestra to fill the Opry House with music. Fans were treated to their favorites as well as a few numbers specifically chosen for the evening, such as My Funny Valentine and Someone To Watch Over Me. "My parents had a healthy love and respect for country music," says Trisha. "We watched "Hee Haw" on TV, and my parents watched the Porter Wagoner and Dolly Parton show. Trisha Debuts New Video

Trisha was back out on the road to perform at a Benefit Concert for Parade of Pennies at Nashville's Wildhorse Saloon. Then she was off to New York City on December 15th where she performed her new single "Trying To Love You" on Good Morning America; as well as visit with the women of ABC's The View. Last but not least CMT debuted Trisha's new video on CMT's Top Twenty Countdown!
