Trisha set to debut on i Radio Cell Phones
Billboard Monitor
reveals that Motorola’s forthcoming cell phone-based iRadio service
will feature channels fashioned around UMG country artists,
including Trisha Yearwood.
iRadio is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2006.
An artist’s channel might, for example, include tour dates, album
release dates, new singles and back catalog. iRadio users, who will
pay between $7 and $10 a month for the service, will make their
channel selections via their PC and then download them to their cell
phone via a USB connection. However, iRadio content is perishable,
meaning that once it is listened to, it is gone. |

Trying To Love You at Radio Now!
There's music that's called, "easy listening," and then there's
music that's easy to listen to. Trisha Yearwood's latest, "Trying To
Love You," would qualify as the latter. For my money, she has,
always been easy to listen to, but also, one of the strongest
talents that this format has ever seen. "Trying To Love You," offers
what is best about Country music, a simple production, allowing her
great voice to shine.
